Pondering while waiting for...

the right moment.

This is the best shot I made since I bought my new camera! :D yay!

The shot was taken while I did my very first 35mm 400 ISO roll. I made a series of test I had to do for my photography class. Kristina (the cute and beautiful little lady on the picture) was waiting for the wind to blow some leaves in the trees and on the pathway to take the perfect shot. I hope she got it since I didn't wait with her.

I am surprised to see that the photography section of DA is really detailed and precise, it took me about 10 minutes to choose where this SHOULD go. The thing is they shouldn't mix people and portraits because it reduces the sub-choice then. So I went for the spontaneous portraits since it was taken on the spot, without real preparation.

I use a Minolta XG-M older than me that my mom bought for me... (even thought I choose it) I... I think I feel in love with photography, I experienced how hard it is to capture something and also how fun it is! I'm also so proud of being able to say that all my shots came just like I thought they would, and none of them are missed. (ok except for the one I accidently pressed on the bouton)

Expect some more scans in the future! :D Also, this was scanned from the prints.

I love photography too... it's like an addiction or something. I hate going anywhere out of the ordinary without my camera.

Though I favour ISO 100 for general-purpose photography... you get better detail out of it. I hate how the boxes say that it's only for brightly-lit photography... such the bullshit that is....

Must do some film photography soon, now that I have money again. Photography is awesome, but it's an expensive habit!

Oh, I use a Pentax MZ-60, which sucks for low-light photography, which is conveniently my favourite form of photography. I think I'll be getting another camera when I can afford it... or, I'll work out dad's old one... It just lacks light metering, so I'd have to get a separate light meter and actually work out how the heck to use it.
